Turbaco Day Trip + Botanical Garden
We'll meet by Torre del Reloj in Cartagena at the designated time. Off to Turbaco!
Once there, we'll spend 2 hours on a guided visit of this town. We'll see its church, walk through its main streets, and stop by the Museo Yurbaco, where the region's rich history is preserved.
Next, we'll visit the Guillermo Piñeres Botanical Garden, just outside Turbaco. We'll stroll through this nature reserve to discover the flora of the Colombian Caribbean, home to over 300 plant species!
We'll spend about 2 hours at the botanical garden. During this time, we'll also take in a majestic natural forest, trails, natural springs, birds, squirrels, iguanas, red howler monkeys, and other animals that will bring you even closer to nature.
The day's last stop will be at a local restaurant, where we'll enjoy a delicious typical lunch with a drink. The perfect way to end the day!

After meeting by Torre del Reloj in Cartagena, we'll set off for Turbaco. Let's go!
First, we'll take a brief 1-hour walk through the historic center. We'll also visit the Museo Yurbaco to learn more about local culture.
Later, we'll travel to Macondo Farm, a natural setting perfect for adventure and entertainment. Here, you can enjoy different activities, like off-roading vehicles, horseback riding, target shooting, or the pool.
Afterward, you'll enjoy a typical lunch at Macondo Farm, made with fresh ingredients from the region. The menu includes options like fish or Creole-style meat, coconut rice, patacones, fresh salad, and fresh juice.
After lunch, you can keep enjoying Macondo Farm's facilities and activities. Finally, we'll head back to your hotel in Cartagena de Indias, wrapping up this 8-hour day trip.
